Well, finally after 2 months of planning and contract drafting and signing… I have sold my business, DotResolve Consulting, and all of its assets as a buy-in to a larger, more secure consulting company, KNS Consulting, Inc. I will be working with the owner to grow the business in the next year, and years to come, to a level not yet attained. We have many plans for growth which we could not both achieve on our own, so this merger of resources and clientele will help us attain our goals, quicker.

Personally, owning my own business has not been the most lucrative thing I have done with myself, but I have learned so much more about how the world and the people living in it works. There have been many ups, and many more downs than I would like to remember. Selling my business to become partial owner of another, more successful, company came at the right time for me.

The next few weeks are going to be quite busy… We will be migrating and consolidating our email systems, websites, finances, etc. So much to do, and we still have to service clients! This experience has brought new life into me, and has motivated me to work harder than I did when I first went into business. I love it!

I am still here and there has been way too much going on. My family was out of town so I was taking care of the house and working pretty much non-stop, but I was the man of the house, so it was worth it! It has been a stressful month, but a good one! There are still some great changes coming my way, it is just taking time to iron out all the details. Of course, when it is all over, I will be posting more about it, I am just not ready yet.

Anyway, it is time for bed because I am beat!

It has come to my attention that my contact form was broken!

Anyway, it is fixed now. So if you sent me something and never got a response, resend please! Let all that “contact me” mail start flowing again!

Have a safe 4th of July for all you U.S. readers.

Techcrunch has posted more news about Microsoft and Yahoo Talking, again… I hope a deal sees the light soon, because, I think Yahoo on its own will probably soon see $15 a share and then fall steadily lower to under $10 a share. I do not know much about stocks, but this just seems like it will be this way in the near future.

My advice (if it mattered): Microsoft and Yahoo, do not bitch out on shareholders again, get the job done!

Happy day four of summer, in the U.S. of course! Personally, I do not like the heat or summer much, but there is not a whole lot I can do about it. California is where my life is… The weather is a bit cooler today, and for the rest of the week so that makes things tolerable.

There is a lot of business going on around me, most of which directly involves me. The majority of it is positive and some of it consists of negative business from the past, which I am still trying to rectify. The latter consisting of money that was stolen from me by a customer. I would love to talk details about the “positive business” but I cannot until it either happens or does not. I know that has been the case every time I have news to post about, but that is the way the cookie crumbles I guess.

At least things are positive now, as a month or two ago business and life was rough. With the halfway point of the year long passed, things need to change even more for this year to be considered successful. If the changes do not occur shortly, I will be looking for a “stable” job to help me pay off my bills, namely car, insurance, school, and rent at the moment.

Let us see what July has to offer!
